Attention spans (human that is) have decreased over 3% since 2000. According to the Statistic Brain Research Institute, a gold fish has the attention span of 9 seconds where as consumer attention is 8.25 seconds. Is it any wonder that the Urban Dictionary defines goldfish as —Someone with an extremely short memory, or one who is extremely absentminded. (I wonder if the goldfish are offended?)
